Fran
Marsilio
Assistant
Teacher
Fran began her
dance training at the age of 5. Her
training continued in college where she
graduated with a Dance Education and
Elementary Degree from Cedar Crest
College. Fran is trained in Ballet,
Pointe, Modern, Jazz and Tap. At Cedar
Crest she choreographed pieces for
student dance concerts and was a member
of the dance company. Along with
teaching dance at Sue Albert's, Fran is
also a teacher at Saucon Valley Middle
School. At Saucon Valley, Fran developed a
dance and drama curriculum which she now
teaches, along with her position as the
gifted resource teacher. She received
her Master's Degree in Education from
Moravian College where she completed a
thesis titled "Dance as Art in
Education". In the past, Fran has taken
master classes in New York City,
Philadelphia, and competition workshops.
Fran has been working at Sue Albert's
since 1998 teaching a variety of age
groups and classes. |
